WHAT YOU'LL LEARN.
This hands-on workshop at our farm will give you knowledge and experience of what it's like to live on a farm.
Feed, Water, and Freedom for the Livestock & Birds
You will assist in the following jobs if available:
- feeding & watering chickens, turkeys, guinea fowl, geese, pigs, and dogs.
-giving scraps and treats to the animals & birds
-letting birds outside to their designated areas
-filling up swimming pools or refilling water buckets.
Warmth, Shelter, and Safety
-Giving them hay and straw bedding if needed
-cleaning a coop if needed
-checking birds/animals for injuries
-checking for fencing & safety from predators.
Homecooked meal
End your farm experience with a home-cooked meal.

Thank you for your interest in signing up for our hands-on farm workshop!
**We run this workshop from spring to fall as per demand. We are booking now for May! Book early to guarantee your spot for 2024. Message us to sign up or if you would like to organize a group workshop!
This workshop is for beginners who want more hands-on experience,
to learn more about raising different types of birds, and animals, and also want to
know more about the health benefits.
This program is a half-day program that we will have once a month from 9 am - 1 pm at our farm
starting in May. We will run this program on a Wednesday for homeschooled kids ages 10 and up,
and Saturdays for anyone interested!
Dates are as follows:
Saturday, May 25@9am-1pm
Wednesday, May 15th @9am-1pm (youth)
Saturday, June 12th @ 9am-1pm
Wednesday, June 19th @ 9am-1pm (youth)
Saturday, July 13th @ 9am-1pm
Wednesday, July 17th @ 9am-1pm (youth)
August dates to be determined.
We will take you through all of the things that we do for the first part of the day for the farm
and then the day will end
after lunch with a home-cooked meal.
There will be limited space and it will book up fast, So please sign up right away if you are interested.
***We cannot run this workshop at the moment for kids under 10, or families,
but you are welcome to book a regular farm tour with us and can ask us for details if you
are interested in your family signing up but have children under the age of 10. Ask us for details!***
The cost of this workshop is $125 per person.
*We will also need to know if you have any food allergies and you must sign the waiver
at the time of booking.
